EMO Hannover and German machine tool industry
In the first three months of 2011, orders in the German machine tool industry rose by 130 per cent comparing to the preceding year's equivalent period. Domestic and export demand increased almost identically: order bookings from the domestic market were up by 127 per cent, demand from abroad by 132 per cent.
This growth will be one of the reasons that will make this years' EMO 2011 trade fair in Hannover a very exciting and interesting one; with the main focus on cutting and forming machine tools, manufacturing systems, precision tools, automated materials flows, computer technology, industrial electronics and accessories, EMO is considered amongst the most impostant trade fairs in the world for metalworking technology.
