EuroBLECH 2010: Sheet metal working industry prepares for the uptrend:

EuroBLECH 2010 shows latest trends and innovative technology From 26-30 October 2010, the 21st International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition
will open its doors again in Hanover, Germany.
This year, the world’s largest trade exhibition for this industry sector will focus upon innovative technologies for the future of sheet metal working.
Enhanced fabrication processes for adapting to changing demand; intelligent
systems and machines for energy-saving and environmentally sustainable production; new materials as well as the latest trends in R&D will be on display.
“The current situation, a period of economic regeneration, demands a great deal of
innovative capacity from every company. After a difficult time, it is important to now set the course for the future by sourcing the right equipment,” explains Nicola Hamann, Exhibition Director EuroBLECH on behalf of the organisers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions. “For industry experts from all over the world, EuroBLECH 2010, with its theme ‘Time for Innovation’, is therefore the first choice when it comes to gaining a comprehensive overview of trends and innovative technology, and to finding suitable machinery and tailor-made solutions”, says Nicola Hamann.

With 1,410 exhibitors from 42 countries and a net exhibition space of 78,000 m2 this year’s EuroBLECH is bigger than the show in 2006, a very successful year for the sheet metal working industry.
“Although this year’s figures do not match the record exhibition in 2008, the
current booking status clearly shows that the sheet metal working industry is on the up again”, says Nicola Hamann.
International participation at this year’s EuroBLECH has risen again slightly, with 46% of exhibitors coming from outside Germany this time. Following Germany and Italy, Turkey now represents the third biggest group of exhibitors. The number of exhibitors from Asia, particularly from China, Taiwan and India, has also increased substantially for this year’s show.
Traditionally EuroBLECH is also a highly international event as regards the visitor numbers. At the last exhibition, 35% of the trade visitors came to Hanover from abroad. A total of 69,400 visitors from 98 countries attended the EuroBLECH 2008 show.
